Random thoughts on a sunshine-filled Saturday morning:

1. The sweetest thing happened yesterday on Facebook.

I mentioned that I was missing Christmas and so many people shared their trees. If you are missing Christmas?

You can still see a little bit of merry and bright here.

2. We just bought this for the car, and it is a COMPLETE GAME CHANGER because it’s retractable.

I think I’m going to order one for everyone in our family.

You can see it here.

3. I may have mentioned this before, but I have the kindest, sweetest, most amazing daughter-in-law on the planet.

They’ll have been married four years this June and we are the luckiest ducks to have her in the family.

You can see their wedding here.

4. It was an incredible week on the blog. We discussed:

  • the best handmade gift
  • how to make DIY labels
  • how I store all my Christmas stuff
  • how to turn Christmas decor into winter decor

5. I love exclamation points. Nothing more. Nothing earth-shattering about that statement. I just wanted you to know. 🙂

Oh—I love smiley faces, too.

And now?

Here are all my favorite things from around the web this week.

Spoiler alert: it was an AMAZING one.:)

a cardboard box with dividers holds assorted rustic christmas ornaments, including pinecones, faux animal figures, dried oranges, stars, and wood slices, neatly organized in each compartment.

This post spoke to me.

It’s about curating a sanctuary for yourself.

a white dutch oven sits on a counter with a bowl of whole tomatoes, a glass of broth, an onion, garlic, butter, salt, pepper shakers, a measuring spoon, and a bottle of milk in front of a white tile backsplash.

This is the season for homemade soup.

Here’s a yummy round-up of recipes, including a yummy crockpot soup.

And I found this article all about Facebook Marketplace.
