There’s something especially thoughtful about a home that anticipates real life—the kind filled with guests, sandy feet, shared mornings, and slow, spa-like evenings. In the Sunset Shores Project, the bathrooms were designed with exactly that in mind: beautiful, layered spaces that don’t just look elevated, but function effortlessly when the house is full.
From the beginning, the goal was simple—create bathrooms that feel serene and personal, yet flexible enough to host a crowd without ever feeling crowded.
Double Vanity

A double vanity that feels more like custom furniture than utility, sets the tone in this bathroom. Warm wood cabinetry anchors the space, while softly veined stone and tailored lighting keep everything feeling light and refined. With two fully separate sink areas, there’s an ease to getting ready—no overlapping, no waiting, just a calm, intentional flow that makes mornings feel unrushed, even with a full house.
Triple Sinks

In shared spaces, we leaned into even more functionality. One of our favorite design moments is the triple sink setup in our bunk room. It’s a subtle shift that makes a huge difference, especially for families or visiting groups. Each sink is paired with its own mirror and sconce, creating a rhythm along the wall that feels architectural and balanced. It turns what could feel purely practical into something elevated and considered.
Outdoor Space

Throughout the home, we blurred the line between indoors and out. A private patio off the primary bedroom allows natural light and fresh air to become part of the daily routine. There’s something incredibly grounding about stepping outside after a swim or rinsing off under the sky—it transforms even the simplest moments into something memorable. The materials reflect this connection too, with textured stone, warm woods, and soft, sandy tones that echo the surrounding landscape.
Spa Retreat

One of the most special spaces in the home is the spa bath tucked just off the gym. Designed as a retreat within a retreat, it features a sculptural soaking tub, calming earthy finishes, and an overall sense of quiet. After a workout or a long day, it becomes a place to reset—private, peaceful, and intentionally removed from the more social areas of the home.
Multiple Bathrooms

And because hosting was such a central focus of the design, we incorporated multiple smaller bathrooms throughout the house. Each one carries its own personality—some with bold tile moments, others with soft plaster finishes or statement lighting—but all feel cohesive with the overall design language.

What makes the Sunset Shores bathrooms feel so successful isn’t just their beauty—it’s the way they anticipate how people actually live. Every detail supports ease, comfort, and connection, allowing the home to welcome a crowd while still feeling like a personal escape.
