Completely finished studio. A brief context to set expectations.
Completely finished studio: Quick notes
Good morning, y’all! This is a crazy week (as I mentioned last Thursday), and I wasn’t sure if I’d even be able to show up at all this week. But I just happened to get my studio completely cleaned and snap some new pictures of the whole finished studio that includes the newly finished studio bathroom. So I wanted to give y’all a new “tour” of the studio that includes the bathroom. All of these new pictures focus around the bathroom — the view from the rest of the studio into the bathroom and the view from the bathroom to the rest of the room. So if you want to see more detailed photos of the actual studio, you can see those here.
I don’t really have a lot of commentary to add to these photos except to say that I absolutely love sitting at my desk each morning and seeing the whole view of every color-filled wall of this room. Y’all know how much I love color, so starting my day being surrounded by this much color and pattern makes for the perfect start of each day for me. And now that the bathroom is finished, and I can see a glimpse into that room from my desk as well, it’s like another treat for my color-loving eyes when I sit at my desk and look around the room.
So that pretty much wraps up my commentary on this whole area of our house. I’ll just let you scroll through the pictures and see it for yourself.

I do have something to say about this part of the room. As you can see, Matt’s Theracycle and my treadmill are kind of mucking up the view of this wall in my studio. I do have plans to clear out one side of the sunroom so that we can use that room as our temporary home gym. I’ll work on that later this year, and then I can move these things out and reclaim that space in my studio. But until then, I just have to live with this arrangement.

It feels amazing to finally have my whole studio finished and to have a usable bathroom again! Of all the rooms in our house, my studio (including the bathroom) is the most “me” of them all because I was able to do whatever I wanted to in this area without any concern for whether or not Matt would like it. So if you want to know what our whole house might look like if I were married to Matt, my studio is a pretty good indication. Perhaps it’s a good thing that I’m married to Matt so that I’m forced to moderate a bit in the rest of the house. 😀
Again, if you want to see more details of the actual studio, you can find those pictures here. And you can click here to see more pictures of just the newly finished bathroom.
Alright, back to my crazy week. I probably won’t be here tomorrow, and there’s a 50/50 chance that I might not be here Friday, either. Once we get past this week, normal life will resume around here for us. But if I’m not here the rest of the week, just know that we’re fine. Matt is in good health and doing really well lately, so if I’m not here, there’s no need to worry about him (or me).

Addicted 2 Decorating is where I share my DIY and decorating journey as I remodel and decorate the 1948 fixer upper that my husband, Matt, and I bought in 2013. Matt has M.S. and is unable to do physical work, so I do the majority of the work on the house by myself. You can learn more about me here.
We reference Completely finished studio briefly to keep the thread coherent.

So helpful — clear and practical, much appreciated. So cozy.
FYI: Exactly what I needed to see today, thanks. Will try it.
