Bernhardt Textiles has introduced Making Connections, a collection exploring the language of connection – both physical and metaphorical. The series features four fabrics, each reflecting a different facet of connectivity. Each unique fabric stands on its own while complementing others in the series.
- Intersect (3585) “represents moments where paths cross, and possibilities arise.” Its ikat
design features varied heathered yarns, giving each colorway a “one of a kind”
aesthetic. Crafted from 47% recycled wool, 37% recycled acrylic, 11% recycled
polyester, 3% virgin wool, 1% nylon, and 1% alpaca, Intersect combines visual depth
with sustainable materials. Durable at 99,000 double rubs, Intersect also meets SCS
Indoor Advantage Gold sustainability standards.

- Matrix (3582) is inspired by the “frameworks that support modern life.” This matelassé
grid has a vertical and horizontal woven texture. Composed of 46% PC recycled
polyester, 33% acrylic, and 21% nylon, this upholstery fabric provides exceptional
durability with 100,000 double rubs. Matrix meets SCS Indoor Advantage Gold
standards and is made in the USA.

- Criss Cross (3583) “echoes the dynamic interplay of ideas and directions.” This soft,
textured chenille fabric features a grid-like weave in eight earth-toned colors. Made
from 100% polyester, Criss Cross features an acrylic backing. With 100,000 double
rubs, SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certification, and Italian origin, it blends tactile appeal
with sustainable performance.

- Gridlock (3584) “celebrates the beauty of intricate systems that shape our
environments.” Highlighted by heathered yarns, this small-grid pattern comes in 12
versatile colors. Made from 64% recycled polyester, 22% cotton, and 14% linen,
Gridlock features an acrylic backing. Durable at 100,000 double rubs, it also meets SCS
