These delicious three ingredient biscuits are so easy to make! You may have everything you need in your pantry already:
Most of us have a crutch when it comes to certain foods, right? Like sweets or chips or whatever. Mine is bread. Anything bread. Buttered, toasted…any shape, any color, flavor, I’m there.
Three ingredient biscuit: a concise orientation before we get practical.
These homemade biscuits are SO heavenly. They taste very similar to the cheddar biscuits at Red Lobster. Is your mouth watering yet?
The best part is they are soooo simple. This is the easiest bread recipe I’ve found…only three ingredients:

The three ingredients for this easy biscuit recipe: Â
1 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup butter (softened)
1 package (8 oz) softened cream cheese
That’s it! Preheat your oven at 400 degrees and then mix these together in a large bowl. I add a couple of extras from time to time to amp them up even more (they don’t need anything, but I like to play around with tried and true recipes).
You just mix the three ingredients together. I use my standing mixer, but a handheld one will work just fine.Â
The biscuit dough will be very thick:

I usually add some shredded cheddar cheese during the mixing process. You can add as much as you’d like, but I recommend starting out with a few tablespoons to make sure it’s not too much.Another bonus with this recipe — no rolling pin needed! I scoop them onto a greased pan using my ice cream scooper:

The lever makes it so easy to scoop out uniform sizes. I use this more for baking than I do for ice cream. 😉Â
Sometimes I also add dill to the mixture:

I LOVE dill, but you could add any accent flavor you’d like!Â
This recipe makes over a dozen biscuits because I make them smaller. When you put them on the baking sheet you can place them pretty close together — they don’t spread much while baking.
Bake them in a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 15-17 minutes or until they start to get golden brown, and then ENJOY their buttery, crumbly goodness:
Go ahead and eat one or three right off the baking sheet. I wouldn’t know anything about that.Â
More variations on these easy biscuits!
- Add jam or drizzle some honey on top for a sweet treat.
- Eat with sausage gravy for a delicious breakfast.Â
- Add other herbs or cheeses to change up the taste a bit.
They are seriously amazing. I make them when we entertain and they’re always a hit.
