Hello sweet friends!

How many days until spring? OH, TWO!! Yay!!
I am so beyond ready. And so sick of the cold this year. However, I really hope we get an actual spring, ya know?? Considering we’ve already had 80’s, I’d say it’s not looking good. lol

With that in mind, I’m sharing the perfect post today to get us on our way. Bunnies and all. A little bit of paint, napkin decoupage, and pretty transfers to brighten these 3 thrifted finds right on up.

Before we get to that, I want to congratulate the 3 winners of my recent giveaway!! I’ve only heard back from one so far, so please check your email for one from me. I’ll be redrawing for the other 2 winners if I don’t hear from you two very soon!

Here’s what I found…

Hey, that one is already good to go for spring! Ha, nope, it’s getting a new look, too.

Let’s talk about the print set first.

assorted botanical and shell-themed art prints, including ferns and seashell illustrations, arranged on a light-colored surface. this easter edition features the white “acy” watermark in the bottom right corner.

I decided to use some leftover greenery transfers on them.

But first, they got paint.

a hand holds a jar of fusion mineral paint in the color victorian lace above a decorative surface featuring large seashell designs, perfect for an easter edition project or your next flipping smalls creation, set against a soft, neutral background.

My favorite white, Victorian Lace.

I rolled it on the fronts only. Leaving the sides natural.

a hand holds a paint roller applying white paint to a blank canvas on a marble surface, with another blank canvas nearby—perfect for your next flipping smalls: easter edition creative project.

Then I worked out how I would apply the transfers.

two open sketchbooks display botanical illustrations of different fern leaves on white paper, all resting on a white marble surface. this easter edition artwork features a variety of green leaf shapes and textures in delightful flipping smalls style.

But it looked a bit…blah.

So, I pulled out some leftovers from another transfer.

a hand uses a brown tool to rub black script lettering onto a white sheet, with easter edition plant stickers nearby on a marble surface.

This pretty script transfer. I also used it on this project: Update Old Artwork with Decor Transfers

I just cut pieces until I filled both of them up.

a sheet of white paper with cursive black script, partially faded and distressed, lies on a white marble surface—an easter edition by flipping smalls. some words are missing or hard to read, giving it a vintage, worn effect.

Don’t these make the prettiest base?

two white boards are displayed side by side on a marble surface, each covered with cursive, black handwritten text. the text on this easter edition seems partially smudged or faded, making it difficult to read in full.

Next, I layered the leaf transfers over the script.

a hand lifts a translucent sheet with painted green leaves, part of the easter edition, over paper adorned with black cursive writing and botanical illustrations, creating a layered effect.

For the edges, I decided to use a stain to darken them.

a hand holds a can of fusion stain & finishing oil (walnut, 8 fl. oz.) in front of a decorative art piece with green botanical illustrations and script text—perfect for flipping smalls or creating an easter edition masterpiece. the can displays cautionary information.

a hand holds a wooden sign with cursive writing and a leaf illustration near a cup of dark stain, a rag, and a stapler on a light work surface. the freshly stained edge adds charm to this flipping smalls easter edition piece.

You can see that the one on the left is dark, and the one on the right is not done yet.

Simple! And a fresh new look.

Now, let’s do the bunny makeovers. I love this napkin with the bunny and wreath.

a small jar of green fusion mineral paint, part of the easter edition flipping smalls, sits on a tray next to napkins featuring a rabbit in a floral wreath. the background includes a black and white checkered pattern.

This “springy” green paint, Conservatory, matched the napkin perfectly.

Before the green paint, though, I gave both of these a quick spray with white primer.

two rustic, white-washed wooden frames on a marble surface. the left frame has faint easter edition text about a carrot patch. the right frame has a slatted wood interior and is empty. flipping smalls acy logo appears in the corner.

And then used my same fave white paint over that. Followed by painting the inner section green, leaving the frame and the inset areas white.

a hand uses a paintbrush to apply light green paint to the white wooden frame of a canvas, on a marble surface—perfect for your easter edition of flipping smalls projects.

I carefully cut around the napkin design, separated the 3 parts, and used only the top section.

a watercolor illustration of a brown rabbit sits in the center of a floral wreath made of pink flowers and green leaves, displayed on a white and green background—perfect for the flipping smalls easter edition.

It’s a little too large, so I’ll trim it on the top and bottom.

Like so. I actually did this before I used the Decoupage gel to attach it. You can do it either way, really.

a hand with light nail polish uses sandpaper to smooth the edge of a floral and bunny illustration on a green and white surface, creating an adorable flipping smalls piece for the easter edition.

a paintbrush with white paint is being applied to a flat white surface in this easter edition image. the background shows a green and white area, and a watermark with the text “acv” appears in the bottom right corner.

And that’s it! Another coat of Decoupage gel over the top, and done.

Lastly, I’ll share the “love” wood tray makeover.

a small paint roller covered in white paint rests inside a white wooden tray with slats. the tray appears freshly painted, adding a clean, bright touch—perfect for a flipping smalls easter edition refresh.

I painted that one with the same white as above.

a white wooden tray being decorated with floral and carrot-themed paper cutouts, featuring daisies and carrots on a marble surface—perfect for your easter edition of flipping smalls.

And pulled out some old transfers for this one, too.

As I was applying the transfers over these slats, I went in and cleared the transfer from the open areas.

a hand peels up a strip of decorative floral transfer from a white wooden surface, revealing a painted design of green leaves and small white flowers—perfect for your flipping smalls easter edition craft projects.

Here’s what I found for the rest of the tray. Isn’t it so cute?

a vintage-style illustration of a white rabbit holding a carrot, framed by a green leafy wreath, with "rabbit & co" above and botanical accents—part of the flipping smalls easter edition collection.

Don’t ya know, the darn slat had to be right in the center where my bunny needed to go?? haha

a painted illustration of a white rabbit holding a carrot is partially split by a wooden seam. the background features green foliage, cursive script, and a small "easter edition" label with no 2 written on it.

That’s okay, it looks fine once cleared.

The tray got a little distressing to add to the look.

I didn’t change anything with the handles, just removed to paint and replaced.

Here are a few shots of them around the house.

These would be cute just about anywhere.

Sweet bunny wreath.

The tray. This one is my favorite.

the word nancy is written in elegant, flowing black script, reminiscent of chalk style paint for furniture, with a heart shape used to form the dot above the letter i. the background is plain white.
