Ruggable has just launched a collection in partnership with London’s Liberty Fabric House, known for its world-renowned archival prints.

Designed in-house by Ruggable’s team, the collection draws directly from Liberty’s more than 150 years of heritage prints, bringing generations of artistry and craftsmanship into the modern home.

Blending nostalgia with a contemporary sensibility, the collection positions florals as a timeless design language rather than a seasonal trend. Each pattern is designed to bring warmth and a sense of “lived-in” character to interiors while remaining relevant year-round.

“Florals have a timeless quality that never goes out of style, and working with Liberty gave us the chance to reimagine some of the world’s most iconic floral patterns for the floor,” said Maria O’Brien, Ruggable VP of Global Design. “We honored the archive’s history while updating scale, color and styling so the rugs feel fresh and relevant for everyday interiors. Our goal was to create pieces you won’t grow out of – designs that evolve with your home over time.”

Drawing inspiration from Liberty’s more than 60,000-piece archive of hand-drawn prints, drawings, pattern books and paintings, the designs capture the brand’s signature layered, eclectic feel. The range features iconic motifs reimagined for high-traffic modern living, with styles including:

  • Persephone Midnight & Cream – Translates the iconic Liberty Persephone print into a rich, contemporary statement. Dark blue gently shifts to a soft cream border, while motifs in green, dusty purple, pinks, pale blue and pops of golden yellow and orange create an artful, luxurious composition.

  • Fresco Midnight – Shadows and jewel tones intertwine on the Fresco Midnight Rug, where deep blue grounds meet layered motifs in taupe, tan, green, teal, purple, burgundy, peach and ivory. The rug transforms the iconic Liberty Fresco print into a richly detailed composition that feels both luxurious and dynamic.

  • Honeydew Blue – Inspired by an archival Liberty drawing, the Honeydew Blue Rug balances whimsical detail with open, airy space, giving the pattern a lighthearted energy that feels modern and unmistakably Liberty. Soft blues and purples mingle with pops of ivory and golden yellow, while leafy green accents trace a lively, playful border on a pale gray ground.

The new rugs are available in a variety of sizes and shapes, including indoor rugs and doormats.

Conceived in collaboration with Klein Agency, the interior balances historical integrity with contemporary sensibility. The 1897 building’s original pine floors, columns and moldings are preserved as a tactile reminder of the past, while contoured walls finished in textured plaster are carved in softness. This dialogue between eras is deliberate – a study in contrast where craftsmanship, both old and new, find equilibrium.

“Architecturally, we were given a stunning shell – tall ceilings, sweeping views and generous natural light,” said Maša Kleinhample, founding partner at Klein Agency. “We intended to introduce a series of gentle curves and sculptural walls that invite discovery.”

“The New York location represents an evolution, both for Armadillo and for how we invite people to experience our world,” said Sally Pottharst, Armadillo’s co-founder. “It’s not a showroom in the traditional sense. It’s a place for pause and connection, mirroring the material honesty we hold at the heart of everything we make.”

In support of the showroom opening, chef and social media personality Romilly Newman will bring her layered, textural sensibility to the space, marking her first interior design collaboration. Her approach to styling deepens the dialogue between the building’s 1897 bones and Klein Agency’s sculptural modernity, offering warmth against Armadillo’s refined restraint.

Known as the “Gen-Z Martha Stewart,” Romilly has translated her signature moody, eclectic and deeply personal aesthetic – so familiar in her approach to food and entertaining – into interiors for the very first time.

In addition to the flagship’s opening, this debut coincides with Armadillo‘s Linnea collection, the brand’s first-ever patterned rugs, which introduce expressive color and reinterpreted motifs throughout the space.

The showroom opening and Newman event will coincide with the global launch of Armadillo’s Linnea collection on Tuesday, March 17th.

The refined design reflects both the company’s long-standing legacy and its continued growth within the design community.

As Kas Rugs expands its collaborations with interior designers and strengthens its position as a style-focused brand, the company said it recognized the opportunity to introduce a more timeless and elevated logo.ruggable partners with liberty, armadillo opens nyc showroom and kas has a new logo | rug report

The updated mark features a thinner, more streamlined typography, creating a sleek and modern look. In addition, the previous red-to-orange gradient has been replaced with a rich dark gray, reinforcing a versatile, modern and enduring aesthetic.

“This update felt like a natural and necessary step for us,” said Marile Franco, Kas Rugs marketing associate. “As we continue offering the latest trends and styles to our customers and growing within the design community, we wanted our visual identity to reflect that evolution.”

The new rugs from Portuguese rug brand Rug’Society were designed to show that color, when applied with intention, becomes a structural element within a space.

The company said that in this new selection, saturated tones and deliberate contrasts are balanced through proportion and composition, allowing each rug to anchor the room visually.

From layered jewel hues to intense chromatic pairings, these designs introduce rhythm and definition without overwhelming the architecture and can work anywhere from an urban city apartment to a mid-century home.
