Dezeen Showroom: workplace furniture brand Narbutas worked with Spanish design firm Alegre Design on a task chair that aims to combine ergonomics, adaptability and affordability.

The Eira task chair has “a light, fluid silhouette with functional clarity”, allowing it to support the sitter and integrate into the surrounding interior with ease.

Its adjustable features include a weight-sensitive synchronous mechanism, adjustable lumbar support, 2D or 3D armrests, and an optional headrest, allowing the setup to be tailored to users’ individual needs.

The backrest and seat are made from tautly pulled Tale mesh, which is available in a range of tones and is sustainable, according to Narbutas.
